mmmmm, Sawyer (courtesy of go.abc.com)
Oh Lost, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. The flash forwards and flashbacks make sense. The little things like Benjamin Linus grabbing ticket number 342 at the butcher’s shop or casting Cheech Marin as Hurley’s dad. The writing is phenomenal, and I’m even more intrigued now that people have gotten off the island, and stayed off the island for three years. But Sawyer, with that sexy Cheshire Cat grin, you had me when you jumped off the helicopter.
Will the Oceanic 6 get back to the island? Does Benjamin have a monetary interest in the island? Why them, why the people on the plane? What really caused the crash? Did Desmond forget some button to push, which caused a magnetic force that made the plane split? Does the physicist dude go back in time to change the course of events? Does Desmond help him? Is that why they found a plane in the ocean and not on the island? What is up with the pilot dude?

the new Naomi/the old Naomi
I’m glad to see that I wasn’t the only one to notice the switch. Hello, not all black people look the same. Shame on you ABC, shame on you. At least have a press release, a blurb or something about it, even if it is a few months after the fact. But still, Audra McDonald has got it. The original Naomi, Merrin Dungey, was not enigmatic and besides, I expected her to pop up from under the desk with a gun and a bomb set to detonate in 20 seconds. Oh Audra, with your luminous skin, perfectly coiffed hair and determination in each line, you had me at Addison.

The following shows just got the big heave ho. This means less time with my boyfriend.
- Pushing Daisies (ABC)
- Prison Break (Fox)
- Swingtown (CBS)
- Dirty Sexy Money (ABC)
- The Riches (FX)
- Eli Stone (ABC)
- The Ex List (CBS)
- My Own Worst Enemy (NBC)
- Knight Rider (NBC)
I thought Swingtown was a wonderful show, and Dirty Sexy Money was my guilty pleasure. But oh, Pushing Daisies, I’ll miss you the most. On the upside, Lipstick Jungle is still in the running for this fall. Tell me what you think.

All of my shows which I am addicted to won a Golden Globe. Mad Men won for Best Drama Series. 30 Rock swept the Best Actor and Actress in a Comedy. But everyone is buzzing about Anna Paquin winning the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series. It’s no secret that I love the show True Blood, so I was pleasantly surprised with her win. Ms. Paquin is an exquisite actress of whom I never get tired watching. If you haven’t seen True Blood, start now. The show begins production next month for season two. Until then, I will quench my thirst with a nice glass of dark, rich, and spicy malbec. It’s not the same, but it will do.

It’s a blessing and a curse that I have a series 2 TiVo, because I would never leave the house. The two most glorious creations since the release of the dvd have merged. I am seriously contemplating the upgrade to TiVo HD XL just so I can get my Netflix on. But then again, I could wait for DirecTV to drop their TiVo. *drools*
